Sex Trafficking 101 - This class will be an overview of sex trafficking, what it is, what it is not, and those who are vulnerable. We will be discussing myths of sex trafficking, and the various types of sex trafficking. We will also cover the trafficker’s role and various recruitment tactics that are used. We will briefly go over trauma bonding to bring an understanding as to why those being trafficked stay. We will close out this class by talking about how the community at large can help in the fight against trafficking.
This class is offered for FREE, but registration is encouraged. Adult subject matter, ages 14+ recommended.
